Matt & Lorain Muñoz
Lead Pastors
Matt & Lorain Muñoz have been on staff here at MPCC for the last sixteen years. They have served as our Youth Pastors, Worship Pastors, and also as our Senior Associate Pastors. In 2014 they answered the call to lead the charge as our Senior Pastors. Both have a deep love for our city and possess a vision to see its people reached with the power of God. Pastor Matt is a firm believer in his role as an "equipper of the saints" and has made it his mission to build up the church to be the relevant, effective, love fueled force for good that it is called to be. Matt & Lorain along with their five children, Noah, Judah, Hannah, Azariah, and Micaiah are life long residents of San Jose and proudly call the East Side their home.
Dan "Sunshine" Martinez
Admin/MPKid's Pastor
Pastor Dan, aka "Pastor Sunshine," has an M.A. in Education and a very long and outstanding history with MPCC. He has been a school principal for a local Christian School and brings a vast amount of experience and expertise to our team. Along with his administrative duties, Dan leads our Kid's Church ministry (MPKids) every Sunday, he helps facilitate our bread/grocery outreach program every Tuesday, and plans and leads several of our annual outreaches including our Community Egg Hunt during the Easter season and our Trunk or Treat harvest fest on Halloween. He also donates his time to help our school kids in the the homework tutoring club each Wednesday afternoon.
Ken Cortez
Discipleship
Pastor Ken Cortez is a longstanding member of MPCC and has seen many of the transformations of our church and the community during that time and has filled several positions of leadership and ministry with in our church. Because of his experience, love for Christ, and love for people, he has been able to lead a very successful discipleship program, also known as "The Grasshoppers." He coaches "New Believers" to become powerful believers as a mentor, and has just begun to launch out in "Mobile Ministries."
